1. Current pre-launch status
Wookex is not currently accepting public orders or arranging deliveries. This policy describes the shipping standards the marketplace intends to apply when transactions launch. Final service areas, carriers, charges, timelines, and category exceptions will be confirmed before checkout becomes available.
2. Delivery information before purchase
Product or checkout pages should show the available delivery method, estimated delivery range, applicable charge, seller handling expectation, and important restrictions before an order is placed. Estimates are not the same as guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.
3. Seller dispatch responsibilities
- Confirm stock and dispatch within the handling time shown to the buyer.
- Package goods to reduce foreseeable damage, contamination, or tampering.
- Provide the correct item, quantity, accessories, and documentation.
- Use supported shipping methods and valid tracking where available.
- Do not mark an order as shipped before it has been handed over for delivery.
4. Delivery estimates and delays
Delivery timing can be affected by destination, carrier capacity, weather, public holidays, security conditions, address accuracy, seller handling, and events outside reasonable control. Buyers should receive updated information when a material delay is known. A significant delay may support cancellation or another remedy under the final order terms.
5. Tracking and delivery evidence
Where tracking is supported, buyers should be able to review meaningful shipment updates. A tracking scan is useful evidence but may not resolve every dispute by itself. Wookex may consider carrier records, delivery confirmation, communications, address details, photographs, and other relevant evidence when reviewing a complaint.
6. Address accuracy and failed delivery
Buyers will be responsible for providing a complete serviceable address and reachable contact details. Sellers and carriers should use those details only as needed for fulfilment. If delivery fails because the address is incomplete, access is unavailable, or the recipient repeatedly cannot be reached, redelivery or return-to-sender rules and charges should be communicated clearly.
7. Inspecting an order
Buyers should check the outer package and contents as soon as reasonably possible. Visible tampering, damage, missing parts, or an incorrect item should be documented promptly with clear photographs or video where practical. Packaging, labels, and included items should be kept until the issue is resolved.
8. Lost, damaged, or incorrect deliveries
The final marketplace process will explain how to report an undelivered, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect order and what evidence may be required. Depending on the facts, available outcomes may include replacement, redelivery, repair, partial refund, full refund, or rejection of an unsupported claim.
