1. What can be reported
Wookex welcomes good-faith reports that help identify brand impersonation, fraudulent payment requests, unlawful or harmful content, intellectual property concerns, security vulnerabilities, privacy issues, or misuse associated with Wookex. Public marketplace listings and seller accounts are not yet live, so any claim that a person is currently fulfilling a Wookex marketplace order should be treated cautiously.
2. Examples of relevant reports
- A website, social account, message, or document falsely claims to be Wookex.
- Someone requests payment for a supposed Wookex order during pre-launch.
- Wookex-hosted content appears to infringe copyright, trademark, or another right.
- A security weakness may expose data or affect the website's integrity.
- A communication contains threats, unlawful material, phishing, or malicious files.
3. Information to include
Send the exact URL, account name, email address, phone number, date, concise explanation, and relevant screenshots or records. For an intellectual property report, identify the protected work or mark, explain your authority to act, identify the disputed material precisely, and provide contact information for follow-up.
Do not send passwords, full payment card details, one-time codes, or unrelated personal information. Preserve original messages and headers where possible. Do not interact further with a suspected scammer solely to collect more evidence.
4. How to submit a report
Email support@wookex.com with the subject “Report abuse”. For a potential security vulnerability, use the subject “Security report” and avoid public disclosure while Wookex has a reasonable opportunity to investigate.
5. Review process
Wookex may acknowledge the report, request clarification, preserve relevant records, assess the material, contact affected parties or service providers, and take action considered appropriate. Action may include content correction or removal, technical controls, brand enforcement, account action after marketplace launch, or referral to a hosting provider, payment provider, rights holder, or lawful authority.
6. Good-faith and accurate reporting
Reports should be complete and honest. Do not submit false allegations, fabricated evidence, duplicate reports intended to harass, or claims designed to suppress legitimate criticism. Wookex may decline requests that are unsupported, outside its control, or legally invalid.
7. Emergencies and financial loss
Email is not an emergency service. If there is an immediate threat to safety, contact the appropriate local authority. If you sent money or disclosed financial credentials, promptly contact your bank, wallet, card issuer, or payment provider. Wookex cannot guarantee recovery of funds sent to an unauthorised party.
8. Privacy and updates
Report information may be shared where reasonably necessary to investigate, obtain advice, enforce rights, or comply with law. This process will be expanded before public seller listings and buyer transactions launch.
